Folks from Louisville, Indianapolis, and Wisconsin spent a wonderful afternoon at the Village's program center on Saturday, October 13, celebrating Granny & Grand-daddy's 70th wedding anniversary. We had great food (including a magnificent Italian Cream Cake), lots of visiting and conversation, and a fun program that included: creating our own alternative version of "The Story of Bettye & Gil" (in mad libs style), singing some of the top hits from 1948, a wonderful performance of Carrie Newcomer's "Silver" by Kim and Kelly, and video sharings from several of the grandkids (see below).
